Business Development Team Lead


We are looking for a Business Development Team Lead to join the team at Flippa, reporting directly to our VP of Sales. Fresh from our $15M Series A capital raise led by OneVentures and supported by some of Australia’s best entrepreneurs we are accelerating our growth and scaling our platform. 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform SDR responsibilities as lead SDR
  • Lead and manage a team of SDR’s. Using our CRM you will be responsible for ensuring that each of them is effective with their time, follow up and tasks.
  • Identifying new markets and customer needs
  • Motivate SDRs to exceed goals through coaching
  • Run regular sales training and coaching sessions with SDR’s.
  • Create, iterate and innovate sales scripts and strategies that help our SDR’s set appointments.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and communicate appropriately to senior management.
  • Promoting the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Developing entry level staff into valuable salespeople 
Contract Type
  • Independent Contractor
Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Total Hours: 40/week
Salary and Benefits

Base Pay
$2,000 - $2,500 USD per month

Supplemental Pay
Discretionary bonus opportunities

Required Qualifications
  • Proven working experience as a business development team leader, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Ability to coach and be coached
  • Proficiency in Hubspot and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Local and International Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Time management and planning skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • A degree in business administration, sales or relevant field is a plus
