Business Development Associate

We are searching for Business Development Associates to join our team in Medellin or Bogota, Colombia.

The primary role will be to conduct market research, and source and qualify sales leads.

The Business Development Associate works as part of the Sales Team, to support the Business Development Representatives, Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to reach mutually agreed goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for sourcing and generating new sales leads to support Business Development Representatives, Account Executives and Sales Managers.
  • - Perform research to find new leads through internet searches, social media monitoring, subscriptions and databases.
  • - Assist in the development of new business opportunities
  • - Identify and qualify prospects based on a company’s business model and guidelines.
  • - Update CRM records and general CRM maintenance.
  • - Verify and clean contact details in databases.


  • - Must be efficient at utilizing computer-based tools (Office, Google Docs)
  • - Knowledge of CRM software (eg. HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus
  • - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • - Ability to work as part of a team
  • - Able to work independently but within a strategic framework
  • - Able to handle multiple projects/assignments at the same time
  • - Good business acumen
  • - Strong organizational skills
  • - Sales experience preferred
